How may hours of operation will a roll of paper
last?
There is a simple formula:
SCAN RATE (SECONDS) X LINES PER INCH (LPI) X 12
X LENGTH OF ROLL (FEET)
Divided by Seconds per Hour (3600) = HOURS PER ROLL
Example: At a 1/4 second scan rate at 150 lines
per inch and a 300' roll of paper figure:
.250 X 150 X 12 X 300 divided by 3600 = 37.5 hours per roll.
