EPC closed out the year 2000 much the same way
many brought in the new year, with a bang. EPC booked or shipped
no less than 18 printers in the month of December. What makes
the total so unique - not one customer received more than four units,
an unprecedented number of different customers. The customer's
profile reflects the product line's diversity.
EPC secured orders Domestically - Ocean Surveys Inc, CT and Internationally
- NCAOR (India); in the Geophysical Market - Sheng Li Oil (PRC),
Military - U.S. Navy and Educational - University of Delaware; and
with four different models, Model 9802 - Petrobaltic (Poland), Model
9206 - Thomson Sintra (France), Model GSP-1086-2 500 Series - GeoAcoustics
(UK), and HSP-100 - Hitachi America.

The Seabat Software is designed to enable the
GSP-1086 TGR to print the side scan data generated by the SeaBat
8101 Multibeam Echo Sounder. The side scan data is read out from
the data file created by HYPACK MAX and then printed out on to the
GSP-1086. The current version prints in playback mode only.

Last months newsletter referenced a threat (in
jest) of sending a nasty virus to all unsubscribers. Many
readers took offense to this, going as far as threatening lawsuit.
EPC meant no harm in this and apologizes for any distress.
