2. Welcome New Subscribers

A heartfelt welcome to all newcomers to the EPC Monthly. Now in its fifth year in circulation (all last year we incorrectly noted VOL. 3), the EPC Monthly is the most widely read manufacturer's newsletter in the industry on the Internet. Figures are based on an informal survey conducted at EPC. The EPC Monthly is a free newsletter provided to EPC customers and industry personnel.

The EPC Monthly covers a wide range of topics and issues related to EPC and the industry including the latest products, recent sales, frequently asked questions, and the popular trade show reviews. How did you get on the subscriber's list? You either unwittingly gave an EPC employee your business card or sent an e-mail to EPC. How do I get off this list? You can't, you are stuck with a lifetime of spam. Seriously, you can unsubscribe by following the instructions at the end of the newsletter.

4. FAQ: "What's New?"

One of the most Frequently Asked Question is, "what is new"? or, "what is the latest technology EPC has to offer"? Customers are eager to cut to the chase. Well, EPC is pleased with its newest line of Network Printers. The Model 1086NT, MP-1086 and Model 9206 all incorporate a new an Ethernet Socket (TCP/IP) Interface. The interface provides a simple LAN based RJ45 connection between a host NT Workstation and one or more recorders.

Complimenting the Network Printers and reducing development cycles, EPC offers an API Application Programming Interface, a high level Windows library for easy integration which includes test code. Also in development an API to support a LINUX Platform.

5. CONFERENCE FEEDBACK

EPC recently attended, and the EPC Monthly recently commented on, two widely attended conferences. Some of the feedback below.

Commenting on the Ocean Technology Workshop:

"It was a very enjoyable and productive week for us and we look forward to similar joint activities in the future." Bill Woodward, Service Argos, Inc.

"Again, thank you for a great conference! It was the right size and scope; got down to the nitty gritty; put the gear in the water; made recordings (and hopefully achieved some sales)." Hartley Hoskins, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute

On the choice of the Town & Country Convention Center in San Diego for the next Oceans Show:
