Welcome to the EPC SUPPORT DISK     

For a easy way to access the documents on this disk just open the file named "Menu.htm" in this directory. It will use your internet browser to access the Adobe.pdf and HTML files on the CD.

Most of the documents on this Compact Disk will require the Adobe reader for viewing. If you do not already have the latest Adobe reader for Windows on your PC you can install it from the Adobe directory on this CD or you can check the Adobe website (http://www.adobe.com) for other versions.

The buttons on the menu page require that your browser be able to run Java scripts as supported by later versions of Netscape and Internet Explorer. 

Many of the test utilities will have to be copied to and installed onto your hard drive before they can be used.  This applies to the following programs:

SALES SUPPORT DISK/PROGRAMS/AUTOCOMM - Copy all files to hard disk and run install.exe.  Autocomm.zip is included for easy download.

SALES SUPPORT DISK/PROGRAMS/IMAGE PROC UTILITY - Copy DISK 1 and DISK 2 to your hard drive and run setup.exe on DISK 1. There are many image files in the Photo Gallery directory that you can use to edit and print.

SALES SUPPORT DISK\TESTUTIL\232DATA.exe - Sends RS-232 test file, requires null modem
 cable. To run: DOS>232data Raster.pix comx  (57600 baud). Include full path of datafile if not in local directory.  232data.zip is included for easy download.

SALES SUPPORT DISK\TESTUTIL\Testpat.exe - Parallel tone shade generator requires 1 to 1 cable. To run: DOS>testpat x  (x designates number of shades 8,16,32,64)
set data bits accordingly.

SALES SUPPORT DISK\TESTUTIL\1086util.zip - Set of 4 1086 test programs. To run: unzip to your hard drive and see readme.txt for instructions.

SALES SUPPORT DISK\TESTUTIL\Prntdata.exe - Tests printing to 1086 parallel port, requires 25 pin 1 to 1 cable. To run: DOS>prntdata raster.dat you can run this directly from the CD but for faster throughput copy PRNTDATA.EXE and RASTER.DAT to your hard drive. 

SALES SUPPORT DISK\TESTUTIL\HSP-100 checkout\HSP.bat - Batch file to print test data to your HSP-100.  See Readme.txt in same directory for details.

SALES SUPPORT DISK\TESTUTIL\9205.exe - Tests printing to 9502, 9800 or 9802 parallel port. To run on a 9205 simply execute 9205.exe. For 9800 or 9802 execute >9205 9802. The test takes about 10 minutes to complete and displays annotation and toneshades that demostrate various functions. A 1to1 parallel cable is required. You must be using LPT1 to run this utility.
